Unfortunately, this love was dealt
a tart aroma of fervent ardency
with hints of deep longing.
As it has been roasted in raw lust,
cream and sugar is recommended
to tame its heavy, robust taste.
I really wish this love came in decaf
but while it is a thick dark roast,
a single sip is rich with passion — Caution: a drink too potent for some
if not most.
